The Masters Cup, but the Rafa Slam will be amazing too, you know, with his name *.*
That he treats Rafa as his learner, not has his nephew. I think this is very important, because in that way how Rafa learned about how to be a good winner, but specially about how to act when you loose.
He fave his nephew a winning mentality, and transmitted him values, thing that not all players have.
When I read the book “Rafael Nadal: Crónica de un fenómeno”, I was surprised how hard he waswith Rafa, and that he never calls him Rafa, always Rafael. I don’t know, that things make me think, and is obviusly that a high percent of Rafa’s success, is thanks to Toni. So thanks Toni, for making possible to see this amazing men called Rafael Nadal.
I haven’t still seen Rafa playing live, but If everything goes right, I’ll be seeing him in May, in the Madrid Masters.
If I have to choose a match, like I said before, is the first match I saw him playing, the semifinals of the David Cup, against Radek Stepanek I think.
Thanks to that match, I became I really tennis fan, but specially, to the great Rafa Nadal. That match was amazing, Rafa wasn’t known, and I’m sure that a lot of people doubted that he could win. But he did it. And after that, they come a lot of different matches. The match of 2004 is which I remember with more affection, but of course I couldn’t forget his first Roland Garros. I cried. It was the first time I cried with him (but not the last), and I remembered the match being so excited, shouting in my house, and my parents telling me to quiet.
Because he’s just another fan.
Of course his
ass back. I thinks it’s so sexy, extremely sexy.
Even with T-shirt…
Any doubt about it?
Aww Roland Garros <3 You know, is like Rafa’s tournament… I don’t know, I have always associated Roland Garros with Rafa. And when the French Open starts I get so excited. Well, more than normally when I see Rafa in any tournament.
Anyway, I love specially all the matches in clay, that red clay is amazing, and more when Rafa wins and he lets his body fall down to it.
All Rafa quotes are special, but I love this one specially:
“Without suffering, there’s no happiness.”
Roger Federer. Their matches together, are epic.
Well, he’s not exactly bitting the trophy, but this photo is so funny because of that.
I’m sorry if my choice is not the most original… But I simplydie when I see him doing that!
Of course the bottles habit and the bananas habit are great too, as well as the tick of the eyebrow.
I liked many outfits. I mean, 7 years watching Rafa… haha.
But here are my favourites, I can’t just choose one.
French Open 2004
French Open 2010
US Open 2006
Australian Open 2009
Montecarlo, Madrid, Roma 2010
Is difficult, but I think that the passing shot. I love when he does it.
Wll, all the tournaments win are special, but if I have to choose, I choose two.
The first Roland Garros he won, because after that, he won it 5 times again! And you know, the first tournament that cames to mi mind when I think in Rafa, is the Roland Garros.
And the Montecarlo Masters in 2010. He won after nearly a year andwhen a lot of people was saying that Rafa would never win again, I defended him, and he showed the world that he could win the Montecarlo Masters and after that, the Gran Slam.
And yes, I have some preference for clay.
Anyway, I love every tournaments he won, they’re all my favourites in some way.
